William Huntley

<p>William “Bill” Huntley Jr.</p><p> Aug. 4, 1927 - Feb. 10, 2009</p><p><br></p><p> William Huntley Jr., 81 years young, of Toledo, passed away Feb. 10th, 2009 at Hospice. He was born in Homer, Arkansas. He was a veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Toledo Clinic as a Physician Assistant/Surgical Technician, working under Dr. Robert Hawkins (deceased), and most recently Dr. Steven Kiechel. He was a member of the VFW Lodge #3013, and Arkansas Heritage Association. His passion was working, however, he also enjoyed family and friends, but especially fishing with wife, anywhere they could throw a line out in the water. He loved his grandchildren and was infamous for biting their cheeks, especially if they had “fat cheeks.” He was member of Friendship Baptist Church, and thoroughly enjoyed his duties as Greeter. </p><p><br></p><p> He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ethel Huntley Sr., daughter Selesta Jenkins, and son Mark A. Huntley, and brother Larry Huntley of New York</p><p><br></p><p> He is survived by Betty, his wife of 58 years; children: Marine Riddle and Ricardo Huntley, wife Carlotta, of Toledo OH, William Huntley III, wife Irma, of Elgin SC; brothers: Fezel Huntley, of Toledo OH, Roy Huntley, wife Kathy, of Rochester, NY, Tony Huntley, wife Deborah, of Palestine AK, and Leroy Jones; sisters: Elvera Wells, Geraldine Huntley, Stella Mae Huntley, Doris Coleman, husband Richard, Annette Smith, husband Rouna, all of Forrest City, AK, Pamela Brooks, of Chicago, IL, and Rita Bohanan, husband Clarence, of Memphis, TN.</p><p><br></p><p> He will be missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends</p><p><br></p><p> Special thanks to personnel Toledo Hospital and Hospice of NW Ohio (Toledo)</p>
