Murline Brown

<p>Murline Covington Brown, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at Hospice of </p><p> Northwest Ohio. Born in Bruce, Mississippi, she and her husband, Joseph Brown migrated to Toledo in 1941. To this union were born two boys and three girls. Murline was always a giving person taking on responsibility and doing whatever she could to assist anyone in her path. She was the caregiver of all.</p><p> She was preceded in death by her mother, Freddie Rice; brother, Tom Armstrong, Joseph Brown (her husband of 59 years); son, Willie Brown (Edna), son, Joe Jr.; sisters, Freddie Lilly and Annie Mae Powell. Surviving is a sister, Lillie Bell Gregory of Toledo; daughters, Dorothy Brown and Carol Burroughs (Marlan) of Toledo and Patricia Jones of Harrisburg, North Carolina; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grand-children; 1 great-great-grand-child, and a host of other relatives and friends.</p><p> Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the House of Day </p><p> Funeral Services. Wake services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. followed by </p><p> funeral services at 12:00 Noon at the House of Day Funeral </p><p> Services. Bishop James M. </p><p> Williams, Jr., officiating. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery.</p><p><br></p><p> The family wishes to thank </p><p> Concord Care Center, The Toledo Hospital Emergency and Cardiology Departments and Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their professional, kind and loving services.</p>
