<p>Mr. Douglas “Doug” Eugene Williams, 64, died Friday (November 18, 2022) at his residence.</p><p><br></p><p>He was born November 8, 1958 in Jesup, GA to the late James E. Williams, Sr. and Deborah Eugenia Scott White. Doug was formerly employed by the Waycross Housing Authority, and he was a member of Southside Baptist Church.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Glenda Kaye Williams Harrison.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include one son, David Lee Williams; one grandson, Presley Griffin Williams; siblings, James E. Williams, Jr., Drenda Vela (Ramiro), Brenda Gaye Morris, Janie Williams, and James E. “Scoobie” Williams III; special nieces, Nikki Strickland, Natasha Pryor (Jonathon) and Abril Vela; his wife, Lisa Munoz Williams; 7 step-children, Ty Munoz, Savannah Munoz, Angeles Munoz, Steven Munoz, Filip Munoz, Darla Munoz and Avey Munoz; and numerous other family members.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (December 1, 2022) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Mr. Douglas “Doug” Eugene Williams, 64, died Friday (November 18, 2022) at his residence.


He was born November 8, 1958 in Jesup, GA to the late James E. Williams, Sr. and Deborah Eugenia Scott White. Doug was formerly employed by the Waycross Housing Authority, and he was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
