<p>Richard “Rickmo” Wade Thomas, age 60, of Mystic, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his home. </p><p>Rickmo was born on December 1, 1961 in Michigan City, Indiana, the son of Richard and Sharon (Tuszynski) Thomas.&nbsp; </p><p>Rickmo held different jobs throughout his lifetime.&nbsp; He worked as a carpenter building houses and other construction work with Jimmy Walker Construction, tending bars, and most recently at Rubbermaid in Centerville.&nbsp; In his free time, Rickmo enjoyed drinking beer, smoking and hanging out with his family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed listening to music, especially music he listened to as a child.&nbsp; Rickmo always thought of others first.&nbsp; He always took care of everyone around him before worrying about his own needs. </p><p>Left to honor Rickmo’s memory are his siblings, Rodney (Penny Opperman) Thomas, Vickie (Ted) Clark, and Judy (Steve) McDaniel; his brother-in-law, Robert Wireman; aunt, Joyce Tuszynski; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. </p><p>Rickmo was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sharon Thomas; his sister, Katy Wireman; an uncle and aunt, E.C. and Pat Jones; and two cousins, Mike Jones and Ted Jones. </p><p>Per wishes, cremation has been accorded.&nbsp; A private Celebration of Life will be held.&nbsp; Memorials may be made to the family of Richard Thomas, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, ATTN: Thomas family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.&nbsp; Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com or on our funeral home Facebook page. </p>
