Bobby Breau

<p>Joseph “Bobby” Breau passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the age of 81 surrounded by his family. &nbsp;He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Sue Breau, his four children Karen Fournet (Marc), Dr. Randy Breau (Lisa), Barry Breau (Cyndi) and Michelle Fisher (Kirk); sister Carolyn Salpietra; eleven grandchildren Monique Fournet, Adrienne Cotaya, Andrew Fournet, Hannah Breau, Connor Breau, Michael Sonnier, Brandon Breau, Hallie Breau, Claire Fisher, Sydney Fisher, and Grant Fisher; five great-grandchildren Andrew Bowden, Renee Bowden, Lola Cotaya, Jack Cotaya, and Walter Cotaya; and a niece and numerous nephews. </p><p>He was born on June 20, 1941, in Morganza, Louisiana. His family moved to Baton Rouge, and Bobby graduated from Istrouma High School in 1959.&nbsp; He enjoyed keeping up with his classmates, friends, and fellow members of the North Baton Rouge Lunch Club where he reminisced about the “good ole days” at his favorite local restaurants. </p><p>He began his working career at Gulf States Utilities followed by over 25 years with BASF.&nbsp; After leaving BASF, Bobby joined Alpha Process Sales where he later became a part owner and ultimately retired in 2007. </p><p>Bobby had numerous hobbies.&nbsp; He was an exceptionally talented artist with over 105 original watercolor paintings and sketches.&nbsp; He also enjoyed playing golf with his close friends at Greystone Country Club.&nbsp; He was an avid gardener.&nbsp; His family, friends, and neighbors benefited from his expertise with plentiful harvests of fruits and vegetables.&nbsp; </p><p>Bobby and Sue were founding members of St. Patrick Parish where he served as Usher and Eucharistic Minister for over 20 years.&nbsp; Bobby was also a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus.&nbsp; </p><p>He was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather relishing every minute he could spend with his family.&nbsp; He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Lee Breau and Mary Lou Bramlett Breau, and his brother Chris Breau.&nbsp; </p><p>We are eternally grateful for the extraordinary care provided by the team of physicians, nurses, and staff at Our Lady of the Lake Heart and Vascular Institute.&nbsp; </p><p>Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2022, from 9:00 am until the funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.&nbsp; A reception will follow the funeral mass at St. Patrick’s Activity Center.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131. </p>
