WRIGHT Ruthie Lee Ruthie Lee Wright, 77, passed away after a long illness on October 17, 2008. She was born on November 27, 1930, in Shugualak, MS. She worked at Cherry Hill Nursing Home until retiring in 1988. She was a faithful member of The Body of Christ Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, George T. Wright; mother, Maggie L. Johnson; father, Willie Luther Houston and sister, Ellen C. Hall. Surviving are her children, daughters, Bernice L. Moody, Shirley L. (Osie) DeGoldsby, Jill Smith; special daughter, Maggie (Arthur) Morgan; sons, George T. (Stephanie) Stevens, Gerald E. (Rita) Spencer, Kevin D. Spencer, Lucky T. Roosevelt, Darin T. Wright and Dion G. (Lola) Wright; 34 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren. Visitation Friday at House of Day Funeral Service Chapel, 5-7:00 p.m. and Services on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at The Body of Christ Church, 5613 Bancroft.
