Leo G. “Mac” McMahon, 74 of West Chester, PA, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2022.

Born in Seneca Falls, NY, but had made his home in West Chester, for the past 36 years. Leo served in the US Marine Corps and received an honorable discharge as a Sergeant. After the Marines he was a Production Supervisor for 5 years at GTE, Sylvania, in Seneca, NY.

In 1977 he moved to Houston, TX, and started a 35-year career in residential construction management. He also worked in Dallas, TX, and in 1986 he relocated his family to West Chester, PA. He worked on the Philadelphia Main Line, building custom homes, and in 1993 he started to work in Bear, DE, building production homes. Over his 35-year career he was responsible for the construction of 4,000 units.

Mac was a real family man. His family always came first. He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Mac is survived by his daughters: Kate Lenahan, of West Chester, PA and Jennifer (Patrick) Leary, of Honeybrook, PA; his son: James (Jamie) (Marcie) McMahon, of Fairport, NY; grandchildren: Jessica (John) Mattson, of Honeybrook, PA, Hannah Vogelsong, of Middletown, DE, Jack Hickman, of Honeybrook, PA, Benjamin Hickman, of Honeybrook, PA, Caitlin Leary, of Honeybrook, PA, Margarat McMahon, of Fairport, NY, and Colin McMahon, of Fairport, NY; and great grandchildren: Jackson Kolodziejek, of Honeybrook, PA and Parker Mattson, of Honeybrook, PA. He is also survived by his brother: Joseph (Judy) McMahon, of Stuart, FL.

Mac is preceded by his loving wife of 40 years, Kathy; his parents Leo and Margaret McMahon; his brother: John McMahon; and his sister: Eileen Miller McMahon.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 pm, at Logan Funeral Home, located at 698 East Lincoln Highway, Exton, PA 19341.

A memorial service will be on Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 8:00 pm, at Logan Funeral Home.

Interment will be private.
