Edward Avester "Eddie Love" Edward "Eddie Love" was born October 22, 1956, in Toledo, OH, to Edd and Ceretha Jackson-Love. He went home with the Lord on August 14, 2008.

Eddie attended Toledo Public Schools and was employed at Ford Motor Company in Michigan. Eddie loved singing and dancing. He had a passion for the "Mowtown Sound", especially the Temptations and the Chi-Lites. All that met him never forgot him, he was a people person. Eddie gave his life to Christ in 2008. Eddie was preceded in death by all of his grandparents: Edd and Aquilla Love, Jeff and Clara Dampeer and Statoria Dampeer. Mr. Edward A. Love leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted mother, Ceretha Love; father, Edd Love; brothers, Jesse Jackson, Alphonso Jackson, Ronald Jackson, all of Toledo, OH and Dr. Steven Elijah Murra-Dampeer of New York, New York; sisters, Gail (Virley) Reed of Ypsilanti, MI and Angela (James) Freeman of Toledo, OH; 23 nieces and nephews and a host of great-nieces and nephews and other family and friends. Eddie had many caregivers during his illness at Liberty Nursing Home. He knew and felt all the love they gave him during his stay. Funeral services will be August 21 at 12 noon preceded by wake services at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 20th from 3-5 p.m. at The House of Day Funeral
