THOMAS Billye Jean Moore Billye Jean Moore Thomas took flight and went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2008. She was born June 29, 1965 to William "Bill" Moore and Martha Moore. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Moore; stepfather, Calvin Sloan and grandmother, Inez Moore. Billye will be missed by her mother, Martha Sloan; sister, Ximena Gray; son, Julian Thomas; nephew, Dominick Gray; niece, Natalie Gray and her significant other, Dexter Barringer. Billye graduated from Robert S. Rogers High School in 1983, The Toledo Academy of Beauty Culture in 1993 and the University of Toledo in 2003 with a BA in Business. Billye began working at The Toledo Hospital as a teenager working after school and worked her way up to Application Specialist. She was Chaplain of the Young Women Christian Council and was a dutiful member of the Usher Board and a faithful member of New Bethel Church of God in Christ, where the Dr. RAnce Allen is the pastor. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Terry Gibbs for his care and understanding and her co-workers in Medical Records, Dietary, and Housekeeping for giving Billye their vacation time during her illness. A special thanks goes to Ashley Homler who devoted many hours to Billye giving love and comfort. Billye loved to spend time with her MOM having those Mother-Daughter talks. Visitation starting at 4 p.m. Friday, August 7, 2008 at the House of Day, 2550 Nebraska Ave. Wake services 6-8 p.m. Funeral service Saturday, August 8, 2008, 12 noon at New Bethel COGIC, 801 Vance St. Dr. Rance Allen, Officiant. Interment Toledo Memorial Park & mausoleum, Sylvania, Ohio.
