Ethel C. Macklin, 65, went to be with her heavenly Father on June 22, 2008, at Hospice of NWO.

Ethel retired from Chrysler in 1997 and was a member of the Windjamers Van Club. Ethel was known to be a bargain shopper and a decorator and was loved by all.

She is survivied by her husband of 48 years, Ocolar Macklin, Jr.; daughter, Inez (Keith); son, Ocolar III (Rita); sisters, Deloris (Ausby) Oliver, Mary (Ken) Jerrell; brother, Cubia Hannah II; stepbrothers, Oliver (Doris) Mills of Salisbury, MD and William (Mary) Mills of Columbus, GA; special friends, William (Nancy) Scott of Toledo, OH and a host of family and friends.

Funeral Services will be Monday, June 30 2008 at 11:00am at Calvary Baptist Church, preceded by 10:00am wake service. Visitation services will be Sunday from 6:00pm—8:00pm the House of Day Funeral Service Chapel. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Please sign register book at
