Devoted father of the late Kathleen Thompson and the late John Thompson and his wife Barbara. Dear grandfather of J. Brendan Thompson. Also survived by several other loving relatives and friends. </p><p> John proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the Minesweeper USS Murrelet during the Korean War.
