Janie L. Roberts “Baba” 76, was born May 5, 1932 in Hinton, W. VA. She departed this life on June 14, 2008 in Flower Hospital. She was a child care provider for many years. “Baba” was a devoted mother and spiritual mother of her church Trinity Faith Tabernacle and made a mean peach cobbler! “Baba” shared the same birthday with her twins.

She is survived by daughters, Nadine (Chris) Reid (McKinny, TX), Theola Gwen (Saul) Gilmore, and twins, Olethia Gaye (James) Brown & Darryl (Shawn) Roberts; sister, Patricia Williams; brothers, Robert Williams (Hinton, W.VA), James Williams (NY); fourteen grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. Special thanks to Dr. Charles E. Rowan, Toledo Hospital Staff, and Kingston Care Center of Sylvania.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, June 21, 2008, 11:00am at Trinity Faith Tabernacle 1302 N. Huron, preceded by 10:00am wake service. Visitation services will be Friday from 6:00-8:00pm at The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel. Please sign register book at
