James Edward Goodlow

<p>James Edward Goodlow, Sr. was born September 13, 1933 in Forrest City, Arkansas to the union of James Buster Goodlow and Reather (Bickett) Goodlow. He departed this life on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, 12:20 p.m. at Lake Park Comfort Care, Sylvania, Ohio, at the age of seventy four.</p><p><br></p><p> James attended Toledo Public Schools. He met and married, Charlene Cole and to this union one son was born. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1953 and was honorably discharged in 1957. Upon discharge he met and married, Wallicia Thomas to this union four children were born. James was a presser for several dry cleaners in the Toledo area until his health failed. He later married, Patricia Whitely in 1998. They had two children.</p><p><br></p><p> James was preceded in death by both parents: two sisters; one brother and one grandson.</p><p><br></p><p> He leaves to cherish his loving memory wife, Patricia Whitely; sons, James Edward Goodlow Jr. of Cleveland, OH, Antoine Goodlow of Melbome, Australia, Eric Whitely, Keaine Goodlow; and stepson.</p><p> Anthony Whitely of Toledo, OH; daughters, Charmaine Goodlow of Denver, CO, Dorothy Niblett and Kimberly GoodJow of Aurora, CO; one sister, Helen Shy of Toledo, OH; special nieces, Victoria Galloway and Reba Diggins; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews, other relatives and kind friends.</p><p><br></p><p> Funeral Services will be Wednesday May 28, 2008 at 12:00noon preceded by 11:00am Wake at The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel.</p>
