<p>DC Woodson was born in Halls, Tennessee to Willie Woodson and Allie Dora White, on April 1, 1919. He went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2008 at his home. He relocated to Toledo, Ohio in 1966, where he was employed for many years at Hydramatic, retiring in 1984.</p><p><br></p><p> DC was wed to Willie Moss Dewalt in 1945, who preceded him in death on September 3, 2000. He was the father of 13 children. DC is survived by sons: Alvin Halliburton (Carolyn), Robert Woodson, James Woodson, Stanley Woodson, Jerry Woodson (Grace), Thomas Odoms (Shawntel); daughters: Shirley Everage (LC.), Emma McClellan, Dora Spears (Melvin), Linda Flowers (James); siblings: Leroy Woodson and Velma Buress; 39 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p> Funeral Services will be Monday, May 12, 2008 12:00noon at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church preceded by 11:00am wake services. Visitation services will be Sunday May 11, 2008 from 4:00-6:00pm at The House of Day Funeral Services Chapel. Please sign register book at</p>
