<p>Fred Hayes, 85, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord at his home Monday, November 21, 2022.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was a longtime member and deacon at Northside Missionary Baptist Church.&nbsp;&nbsp;He retired from Pioneer Plastics after many years of service.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was preceded in death by his wife, Deulah Hayes; children, Fredrick Keith Hayes and Kenneth Dwayne Hayes; parents, Harriet and Wiley Hayes; sisters, Sally Hayes and Ruby Hayes; brothers, Don Hayes and Vaughn “Buster” Hayes.&nbsp;&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>He is survived by his wife Emma Hayes; children, Mark Hayes; stepchildren, Melody (Eddie) Jones, Lester (Wendy) Turner, Laura (Jerry) Phipps, Terri (Robert) Espenoza, Robert (Stella) Turner, and Sammie Turner; grandchildren, Ashley Hayes, Trey Hayes, and Rachel Hayes; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren;&nbsp;&nbsp;sister, Edna Farmer; brother, Lon (Joan) Hayes; as well as several nieces and nephews.&nbsp; </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>The family would especially like to thank Covenant Hospice and special caregivers Lester Turner, Jr., Melody Jones, Robert Turner and Terri Espenoza. </p><p>&nbsp; </p><p>The family will receive friends from 4:00- 6:00 pm, Wednesday, November 23, 2022, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home prior to the funeral service at 6:00 with Reverends Kenny Clark and Lonnie Dalton officiating.&nbsp;&nbsp;Graveside services will be11:00 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2022, in Hayes Family Cemetery in Thorn Hill, TN. </p>
