MAMOU - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jane Vinne McGee at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 25, 2022, at St Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou, LA followed by Interment at Chene Vert-Manuel Cemetery. Father Bala Rayapati will be the celebrant of the mass and conduct funeral services.

Jane Vinne McGee, 89, passed away at her residence on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. Jane was born on April 10, 1933, in Chataignier, LA to the late Euzee Fontenot and Abbie Veillon Fontenot. Vinne was a kind, passionate, and loving wife and mother. Her work was a seamstress was spectacular and she sewed for much of her family. 

She is survived by her son, Anthony Craig McGee; and sister, Priscilla Stansbury. 

She was preceded in death her parents, Euzee and Abbie Veillon Fontenot; husband, Anthony McGee; sister, Delores Bex; and sister in laws, Marjorie Pang and Rose Guillory. 

Visitation will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Mamou on Friday, November 25, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM. A rosary will be recited at 11:30 AM.
