Joseph Patrick Johnsen, age 36, of Drexel Hill, passed away at Temple University Hospital on Friday October 28, 2022 after a long battle with addiction. Joey was born on December 7, 1985, to Sarajane and Joe Johnsen. He graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School in 2004, and went on to work in the trades. He was preceded in death by his biggest supporter and adoring father, Joe. He is survived by his loving mother Sarajane, and his siblings, Michelle and Dan, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Joey was a sports fanatic and excelled at all things physical. An avid baseball, football, and basketball player from a young age, he also loved all Philly sports teams and enjoyed going to games at the stadiums. Services will be private, and our family asks that you please pay a kindness forward in honor of Joeys life.
