Mr. John Leonard Milledge, “Johnny B-Good”, son of Mr. Johnny Milledge Jr. and Mrs. Priscilla Milledge, passed away November 17, 2022. John was born January 8, 1969, in Blackshear, GA. He graduated from Wayne County High School in 1987. John was employed at Wayne Line Furniture and at the Screven Cabinet Shop. He assisted the late, Howard Lewis doing odds and ends jobs. He enjoyed, fishing, grilling and being in the presence of family and friends.

John was preceded in death by his sister, Ms. Michelle Milledge; his maternal grandparents, Mr. Harvey Grant and Mrs. Priscilla Grant; his uncles, Mr. Jimmy Harvey Grant, Mr. Steven Grant, Mr. John A. Grant and Mr. Nathan Grant, as well as his aunts, Mrs. Ida Mae Butler and Mrs. Martha Lee Roberts; paternal grandparents, Mrs. Minnie Milledge and Mr. Johnny Milledge Sr.; his aunts, Mrs. Betty Jean McClain and Mrs. Virginia Greene; his uncle, Mr. Lemon Milledge, all of Patterson, GA.

Mr. John Milledge memory will be forever cherished in the lives of his family: his daughter, Ms. Deja Tardiff, Daytona, Fl.; three grandchildren, Jade, Mila and Cory; his mother, Ms. Priscilla Milledge, Jesup, Ga.; his father, Mr. Johnny Milledge, Patterson, Ga.; his brother, Mr. Allen O’Neal Milledge, Jesup, Ga.; his sisters, Mrs. Debbie S. (Ernest) Baldwin, Townsend, Ga., Mrs. Phyllis M. (Burrough) Jackson, Odum, Ga., Ms. Renelda L. Milledge, Hinesville, Ga. and Ms. Tracy T., aka “Baby Sister” Wright, Hinesville, Ga.; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; his close friends, Ms. Lorraine Doomes, Waycross, Ga., Mr. Esters Wright, California, Mr. Reggie Jones, Jimmy Truitt and Mr. Benjamin Dixon, both of Screven, Ga. John also had many friends that will miss him dearly.

Remains will lie in state for viewing one hour prior to services on Friday, November 25, 2022, from 10:00 am -11:00 am, at New Bethel Life Changing Ministries.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 @ 11:00 am, at New Bethel Life Changing Ministries, 521 Brown Street, Screven, Ga. 31560, followed by cremation.

Everyone planning to attend the service is asked to wear your masks and observe the social distancing guidelines set by the local health officials and the CDC.
