Chris Horton

Baldwyn- Christopher “Chris” Moore Horton, 47, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.

He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and he loved the outdoors, college football, especially MSU. His kids were his world and he had a kind hearted soul. He was a line worker for Lane for 15 years and a member of Oak Valley Christian Church.

Memorial services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Jimmy Tackett officiating.

He is survived by his parents, Danny and Cecilia Horton; two daughters, Ayda Horton and Afton Hendrix; son, Axle Horton; brother, Josh Horton (Melek); host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Horace and Margaret Moore; step-grandparent, Gerald Stafford; uncle, Melvin Moore.

Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Friday from noon until service time @2:00 p. m.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be sent in his memory to Sonshine Christian Camp, P. O. Box 3038 Tupelo, MS 38803.
