Sherry M. Deese
<p>Sherry Moseley Deese, 67, of Kershaw, S.C., passed away, Sunday, November 20, 2022, in MUSC -Kershaw Health Medical Center, Camden, S.C. Born in Camden, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Ernest Moseley, Sr. and Mary Ellen Stroud Moseley. She was a Home Health caretaker and a member of Church of Christ, Camden, S.C. Sherry loved reading her bible. She also cherished the time she spent with her grandson and her family.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her daughter, Mary D. (Pete) Wright; her son, John (Katlyn) Deese, Sr.; her grandson, John “J.J” Deese, Jr.; 6 siblings, Faye (Hazel) Barfield, Judy (Doug) Payne, Diane (Kenny) Owens, Ernie (Karen) Moseley, Rita Williams and Jane (Huey) Adams. She is also survived by her best friend who was like a sister Debra Evans.</p><p><br></p><p>In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Junior Deese; a sister, Veronica Parker; a brother-in-law, Steve Williams and a special son, Corey Cassidy.</p><p><br></p><p>A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2022, in the sanctuary of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Kershaw, S.C. Brent Bishop will officiate.</p><p><br></p><p>The family will greet friends following the service in the church Family Life Center.</p><p><br></p><p>Donations may be made to Baker Funeral Home, 210 East Hilton Street, Kershaw, S.C. 29067 in memory of Sherry.</p><p><br></p><p>Arrangements are under the care of Baker Funeral Home, Kershaw, S.C.</p><p></p><p><br><br></p><p></p>September 6, 1955 - November 20, 202209/06/195511/20/2022
