Russell C. Miller, age 97, of Bethel Park, on Sunday, November 20, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Miller; loving father of Russ (Cindy) Miller, Clayton Phillips, Trudy (Joe) Friend, Ted Miller and Rhonda (Dino) Del Mastro; cherished grandfather of Russell Miller, Brian Miller, Jaret Hazlett, Shelby Aiello, Paul Miller, Matt (Sara) Ryan, Taylor Ryan, Carly Friend, Sarah Miller, Heather Miller and the late Tim Miller; great-grandfather of Hailey, Isiah, Jax, Gino and Cole and great-great-grandfather Millie; brother of the late Carolyn Ferguson and Bob Miller. Russ was a veteran of the US Navy from 1943-1946. He was member of the Veterans Breakfast Club and St. Thomas More Church. Russ retired as a supervisor with United Airlines after many years of dedicated service. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Beinhauer-Connell Funeral Home, 5120 West Library Avenue, Bethel Park (412-835-7940). A blessing service to celebrate his life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Entombment with full military honors will be held immediately following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
