Obituary Jean Gerbig, born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, was called to her heavenly home on February 12, 2022, at the age of 89. Married to James Olsen on June 8, 1952, and later to Clarence Gerbig on October 9, 1992, Jean is survived by her daughter Julie (Bob), and sons Jeff (Tracey), Jay, Jon (Marcia), Joel and Jerry (Ann), who together blessed her with 14 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. She lives on in their adoring hearts, as well as in the hearts of those she was blessed to meet throughout her life. A prominent member of the Neenah community, Jean forged a 30-year career with the Neenah School District, retiring as Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools in 2001. For decades she was a devoted and beloved member of the Gloria Dei Lutheran Church. Memorial services for Jean will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 1140 Tullar Rd., Neenah with Pastor Tabitha Gallatin officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.
