Daniel Bernard Nadolney

Daniel B. Nadolney, 69, Neenah, died Sunday, October 30, 2016, at ParkView Health Care Center, Oshkosh. He was born on September 16, 1947, in Appleton, son of Joseph and Ann (Suess) Nadolney. Daniel graduated from St. Mary High School in 1965. He proudly served his country aboard the USS Gilmore with the US Navy. Daniel was united in marriage to Susan Saborowski on May 4, 1968, and she preceded him in death on November 2, 2006. Daniel attended the UW-Extension of Menasha and UW-Green Bay. He was employed as an engineer at Webex for several years. Daniel co-founded C.R.E.W. Inc. in 1999 with partner Jerry Sommerfeld, retiring from C.R.E.W. Inc. in 2010. He loved his family and they were his pride and joy. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, coaching baseball, reading, and completing crossword puzzles. Daniel was a storyteller and the glue that could unite friends and family. He married Carol (Britzke) Pottner on March 18, 2016. Daniel and Carol were snowbirds, spending winters in Surprise, AZ since 2010. Daniel was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish, Neenah, and the Neenah-Menasha Elks Lodge #676. Daniel is survived by his wife: Carol; 3 sons: John (Kristi Rzentkowski), Joseph (Casie Pederson), and Daniel Nadolney; 6 grandchildren: Kyle, Penelope, Sarah, Mason, Cayden, and Grant; 2 brothers: Perry and Roch Nadolney; 3 sisters: Doris (Pete) Kiefer, Paula Strong, and Marla (Norm Garden) Nadolney; step-children: Adam (Amy) Pottner and Lisa (Todd) Gosz; step-grandchild Jack Pottner as well as many other relatives and friends. Daniel was preceded in death by his wife: Susan; parents; and 2 siblings: Infant John Nadolney and Alice (John) Maguire. Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. An Elks service will be Friday at 4:45 p.m., and immediately following the service full military honors will be presented by the Active Duty members of the U.S. Navy and the Neenah Menasha Veterans Honor Team. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated in Daniel's name. Daniel's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire staff at the Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Phoenix, AZ; Northwest VA Health Clinic, Surprise, AZ; Clement J.
