Robert J. "Bob" Zivkovich Obituary

Robert Zivkovich, 65, Neenah, passed away suddenly Friday, August 03, 2012, with family present at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born March 23, 1947, in Elkhorn son of Joseph and Dorothy (Mitchell) Zivkovich. Robert married Dorothy J. Wisniewski December 27, 1969. He was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah where he also served and volunteered with his wife Dorothy at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel. Bob was talented in fixing most anything, hence his nickname of "Mr. Fix It". He loved electronics and was always searching for an answer or solution as to how something could be fixed. Bob enjoyed all sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, college football and the Milwaukee Brewers. He never missed an opportunity to watch his grandchildren play sports or perform in concerts and plays. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran, having served as an M.P. Bob loved his family, and was a wonderful husband, father, beloved grandfather, and friend to many. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; children: Lori (Brian) Borchardt, Neenah; Craig Zivkovich, New Berlin; 3 special grandchildren: Madeline, Sydney and Carter Borchardt; mother-in-law and step-father, Louise (Elmer) DeGroot, Clearwater, FL; brothers and sisters: Gerald Zivkovich, Honey Creek; Deborah Glessner, Burlington; William (Ann) Zivkovich, Litchfield, MN; Sally Drew, Eldorado; a sister-in-law, Sue Wisniewski, Scottsdale, AZ; aunts, uncles, numerous nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Joe Wisniewski and other family. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2012, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 620 Division St., Neenah with Fr. Michael L. Ingold officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church until the time of the Mass. Full military honors will be performed by the Twin Cities Veteran's Funeral Honor Team following the Mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Robert's name. Dad, You are an amazing husband, father, grandpa and friend.
