Mary Lou Salm, 74, Neenah, died Wednesday, August 24, 2016. She was born on April 16, 1942, to the late Leonard and Benita (Rice) Whittemore. She was united in marriage to the love of her life John 'Jack' Salm on August 18, 1962. She was a founding member of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish. Mary Lou loved to travel, play card games and take canoe trips by the family cabin in Poy Sippi. She especially loved the water and attended water aerobics class. Mary Lou enjoyed taking bike trips with her grandchildren and wouldn't miss an event they were in. She could name any wildflower you could point to. Mary Lou is survived by her husband Jack, children: Pete (Judy) Salm, Ann (Dave) Young and Chris (LeeAnn) Salm; grandchildren: Bobby, Jake and Emily Salm, Brent (Fianc: Susan Vandenlangenberg) Young, Michelle (James) Price and Monica Young and John Wright; brother Gene (Mary) Whittemore, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Private family services will be held at the Kessler Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Dr. Georgen, Dr. Wascher, Dr. Swanson, Dr. Steven and Dr. Kathleen Price and Caitlin Kling for the excellent love and care of Mary Lou. Granny Lou ~ Thank you for all the fun you brought to our childhood and all our events you attended. We are blessed with precious memories, we love you forever...your Grandchildren.
