Theresa M. Voldsness Obituary

Obituary Theresa M. Voldsness, age 80, of Neenah, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 1, 2021. Theresa was the firstborn of seven children to Alta and Wilfred Stai on February 9, 1941. She was married to Edmond J. Voldsness and together they had five children, having lived in Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire and Salinas, CA. They eventually settled and raised their family in Neenah. While raising her children she held part-time jobs at Menasha Corp. Bissell, Goodwill and Kohls. After raising her five children and many day-care children, she went back to school and received her G.E.D. and completed her medical terminology program and worked at La Salle Clinic in Neenah. It was years later that she would pursue and receive her real estate license and worked for Coldwell-Banker-Bytoff Realtors in Neenah. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was where her greatest love was to be found. She loved baking, and spreading joy by sharing her food. She loved gardening and tending to her flowers daily and her favorite time of the year was Christmas where family and friends would gather together. Her tree shines brightly yearly and forever will be her light and gift of love to all. She leaves behind her children, Kimberly (Anthony) Heinz, Kathleen Maurer (special friend Kevin Kerstner), Tamara (Dan) Tardiff, Brian (Laura) Voldsness, and Becky (Steve) Donaldson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tara (Mike) Lager, Haley (Brett) Lederhaus, Alexander (Kelly) Tardiff, Jaclyn Tardiff, Taylor Donaldson, Jordan Donaldson, Jessica Hurley and Ryan (Susan) Voldsness; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way in February. She is further survived by two brothers, Wayne (Marilyn) Stai and Billy Stai; two sisters, Jolene (Lowell) Peyton and Vicky Brunken; two brothers-in-law, Ray Saling and Robert Darkow; two sisters-in-law, Judy Voldsness and Vicki Stai. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmond Voldsness, her parents, Alta and Wilfred Stai, a sister, Anita Saling, a brother Lyle Stai, three brothers-in-law, Jerome, Donald and Gerald Voldsness, her mother-in-law, Mabel Voldsness-Berg, fathers-in-law, Julius Voldsness and Alf Berg; sisters-in-law, Marianne Voldsness, Margaret Huff, Beverly Darkow, a brother-in-law, Zane Huff, as well as two nephews. She loved people and even strangers and would often find herself helping anyone who needs help by offering her hand. She will be missed by all who love her, family, friends and acquaintances. A private family service will be held at Kessler Funeral Home in Neenah on Wednesday, December 8, 2021. Burial will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah. The funeral service will be livestreamed on the Kessler Funeral Home and Cremation Service Facebook page beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
