Obituary David J. Harrer, age 73, of Neenah passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at the Valley VNA. David was born on February 22, 1945 in Sacramento, California, son of the late Henry and Josephine (Sherman) Harrer. David married the former Kathy Taves and she survives him. David is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Connie Peterson and Nancy (Jon) Freund, nephews, Ryan Freund, Glenn and Chris Peterson, great-nephews, Alex, Zach, and Trace and a great niece Avianna. David was preceded in death by is parents, and a brother-in-law, Ron Peterson. Funeral services for David will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. Military Honors will follow the service.
