John Ervin Fenske

John E. Fenske, 72, Suamico, formerly of Neenah passed away Saturday, January 28,2017, to be with his mother. He was born one of God's special children on November 7, 1944 to the late Herman and Lucille (Whitefoot) Fenske in Appleton. Even though he had challenges, he always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed his stay at Bay Harbor Assisted Living and grew very fond of the staff in Suamico. John liked watching television and playing cards. He helped build a log cabin, hunted with his brothers Ray and Larry and traveled to Canada with his mother where he loved to fish. John loved to laugh and help others if he could. He loved his beanie babies, they were never left behind. John is survived by his siblings Carol (Leslie) Kufahl and Larry (Mary) Fenske, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. He is also preceded in death by his brother Raymond Fenske and sister Patricia Peapenburg. A private service will be held. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.
