Obituary Van Hout, Owen James, age 17, was tragically taken from our lives on Monday, November 8, 2021. On October 12, 2004, Owen James was born in Oshkosh to Brent Van Hout and Cody Christian. From the time Owen was born, his parents knew he was going to be a charismatic, stubborn, courageous, and beautiful boy. As a loving and caring young man, he was able to light up a room with his infectious smile and personality. Owen knew someone everywhere he went and continued to make new friends as he was loved by all who met him. Owen was a Junior at Kimberly High School and enjoyed playing football and other sports. He was very competitive at everything he did and was known to place a few bets on his beloved Philadelphia Eagles football team. In addition to his love for sports, Owen also enjoyed fishing. Words cannot describe how incredibly loved Owen was by his family and friends and will be deeply missed by his parents: Brent (Jessie) Van Hout and Cody (Matt Ziegler) Christian; his brother, Payton Van Hout; and his step-siblings: Scarlett, Genevieve, Violet, Delaney, and Lincoln. He is further survived by his grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, extended family and countless friends. A Celebration of Owens Life will be held at 3:00pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Christ The Rock, W6254 Highway 10/114, Menasha, WI 54952. The Memorial Gathering will be held from 12:00pm until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial has been established: Owen James Memorial Fund (Funds to be donated to Suicide Awareness) Nicolet National Bank, 550 S.
