Obituary Azalea Rae Maura peacefully passed away in the arms of her loving family on September 4, 2020. Azzy was born at 4:59 p.m. at Froedtert Birth Center in Milwaukee and Jesus carried her to Heaven that same day at 10:15 p.m. Azalea is the daughter of William Arthur Maura Jr. and Rayna Mae Vanesky of Menasha. Azzy is survived by her mom and dad, her paternal grandparents, William Maura Sr. and Heidi Maura; her maternal grandparents, Tara Welch, Jacob Vanesky and also her step grandpa, James Louder. She is further survived by great grandmas Kathleen Erdmann and Carolyn Maura; aunts, Kelsey Maura and Marissa (Austin) Maura; great uncle Waldemar (Tracy) Wohlgemuth Jr. and great aunt Julie (Brian) Bickell on her fathers side. On her mothers side she has a great grandma Kathy Vanesky, great grandpa Denny Vanesky, and her close cousins, Daymein and Marie-Rae Ott; her great auntie Shanna and great uncle Gerry Ott, great aunt Theresa (Clifford) Krause III, Dana Lowe; great uncle Brian Whetstone and Teddy Vanesky, along with many more cousins. During her five short hours here with us, she touched many lives and was loved deeply by family and friends. Azalea was greeted at Heavens gate by her great grandma Kriewaldt and her cousin Nicole Wilson on her mothers side. On her fathers side, by her great grandpas Fredrico Maura, Waldemar Wohlgemuth and great uncle Billy Wohlgemuth. Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah. Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. until the time of services. The family would like to say thank you to Froedtert Birth Center of Milwaukee, along with a special thank you to nurse Krista from Froedtert and Dr. Meyer of St. Elizabeths OB/GYN for helping us through our journey with our Angel Baby Azalea.
