Frank J. Stilp

Frank J. Stilp, age 79, born October 14, 1931, died Saturday, June 4 from cancer at Appleton Medical Center with his family by his side. He is survived by his family: Elizabeth (Tim) Holz, Ripon; Patricia (Greg) Heckman, Menasha; Stephen (Julie) Stilp, Neenah; Karen (Jim) Schilling, Prairie du Chien; Carl Stilp, Neenah; and mother of his children, Judy Stilp. His great joys were his grandchildren and great grandchild: Jakob and Franck Holz; Matthew LaValley with Hannah and Madeleine Heckman; Kevin and Nick Stilp; Kia, Alaina and Jack Schilling; Anthony Stilp, with great grandson Ivan, and Heather Stilp. He is also survived by his companion, Mary Lou Jensen. Whom he enjoyed spending time with and with whom he shared an interest of wood craft. Frank was an entrepreneur who built three businesses. Stilp Agency (Real Estate and Insurance), The Oval Box (Shaker furniture and oval boxes) and Generations Coffee House, where he had a great team of baristas. Thank you Kay, Katherine, Tammy and Sam for helping him achieve this dream. Generations will officially be closed at the end of the business day on Friday, June 10th. Frank also enjoyed travel, music, community involvement, and spending time with family and friends. He crafted wooden toy cars for the Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin Fox Valley. We thank the wonderful staff on the Oncology Unit at Appleton Medical Center, as well as Dr. Phillips, Dr Swanson and Theda Care Hospice. Franks wishes were to have no funeral or showing. A Celebration of Life will be held at Franks Generations Coffee House on Saturday June 11th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of gifts and flowers a Memorial has been established in Franks name.
