Katy Verrett, 87, Neenah, formerly of Ormond Beach, FL died Thursday, April 14, 2016, at Valley VNA, Neenah. She was born October 31, 1928, in Nuremberg, Germany, daughter of Adolf and Magdalene (Zweyrohn) Buff. Katy married James Henry Verrett on January 28, 1954 in Germany and they moved to the U.S. shortly after. He preceded her in death April 8, 2014. She was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church, Ormond FL. Katy is survived by her daughter, Irene Hecker, Daytona Beach FL; two grandsons; a brother, Walter (Ursula) Buff, Germany and many nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Saturday, April 30, 2016, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, with Fr. Larry Seidl officiating. Entombment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Appleton. Visitation will be held Saturday, at the funeral home, from 11:30 A.M. until the time of the service.
