Obituary Peter "Pete" Wichman, age 60, of Neenah, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 after a battle with cancer. His family, friends and dog, Jasmine, were at his side. Pete was born on October 8, 1958 to the late Donald and Barbara (Schommer) Wichman. He married his High School sweetheart, Laurie Wirsbinski on August 4, 1979 in Neenah. Pete worked at Ryder for many years and then was a truck driver for Sell-Even, then Kaukauna Cheese and retired from Land Air. Pete was always putzing around doing something. He especially loved working on the tree house he was building for his grandson, Caleb. He also enjoyed riding his Harley and spending as much time as he could with Caleb. Pete will be missed by his wife, Laurie, his son, Donny (Amy) Wichman; grandson, Caleb; a sister, Pam McCluskey; brothers, Joe Wichman, Tim (Rose) Wichman, and Steve (Heather) Wichman; his mother-in-law, RoseMarie Wirsbinski; sisters-in-law, Caryn Baker, Joan (Tom) Waitrovich, and Gayle (Yong) Kwon and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, April, his parents, and his father-in-law, Bud Wirsbinski. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Petes life will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 26, 2019 at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah.
