Joan M. Waldhart

Joan Waldhart, 68, passed away with her family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer, Thursday, March 10, 2011. She was born October 1, 1942, in Neenah, daughter of Arthur and Mildred (Kearn) Eimer. Joan married William J. Waldhart May 2, 1962, at St. John Catholic Church, Menasha. Mrs. Waldhart was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah. Joan loved and lived for her children and grandchildren. She thoroughly enjoyed attending and cheering for her family at their sporting events. Joan loved to cook for family gatherings and took great pleasure in having her loved ones together. She was employed part-time at Salms Services for 32 years. She was loved much and will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Joan is survived by her husband, Bill; children: Brenda (Kim) Bright, New Glarus; Brad (Sharon) Waldhart, Neenah; Brian (Jill) Waldhart, Kimberly; grandchildren: Ryan Bright who attends U.W. Stout, Menomonie, Lukas Bright who attends New Glarus High School, New Glarus; Allison and Megan Waldhart, who attend Tullar Elementary, Neenah; Jordan Waldhart, who attends Kimberly High School, Kimberly Luke Waldhart who attends Woodland Intermediate School, Kimberly; brothers-and sisters-in-law: Dick (Barb) Waldhart, Kimberly; Sandy (Jim) Vanden Heuvel, Combined Locks; Carol (Tom) Weyenberg, Shawano; Nancy (Bill) Bassett, Kaukauna; Dan (Bev) Lenz, Kimberly; Ron (Nancy) Lenz, Oconto Falls; Ted (Sarah) Lenz, Oshkosh; half sisters: Pam Boushley, Neenah; Tammy Eimer, Menasha; half brothers: Joe Eimer, Neenah; Robert Boushely, Neenah; Bryan Boushley, Neenah; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah with Rev. Tom Neilsen officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established. Joan's family wishes to thank Dr. Yao and his staff for their loving care and compassion. They would also like to thank ThedaCare, Homecare and Hospice for their support and guidance.
