<p>A memorial service for Mr. Louis Taylor McDaniel will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 in the chapel at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena with Reverend Jason Wilks officiating.</p><p><br></p><p>The family requests that a visitation be observed on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11 a.m. until the time of service at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home in Jena.</p><p><br></p><p>Mr. Louis Taylor McDaniel, 42, of Jena, was born on April 12, 1980 in Lake Charles, and passed from this life on Friday, November 18, 2022 at his home in Jena.</p><p><br></p><p>He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis McDaniel in September of 2005.</p><p><br></p><p>Those left to cherish in his memory include his mother, Teresa Wilks Owens; brother, Samuel A. McDaniel (Kristina); and 4 nieces, Alyssa, Arion, Autumn, and Arie.</p><p><br></p>April 12, 1980 - November 18, 202204/12/198011/18/2022
