Joyce Dianne Bumgarner Franklin Bailey, 76, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 20, 2022.

She was born July 25, 1946 in Catawba County to the late Floyd “Shorty” Bumgarner and Ivy Shook Bumgarner. Dianne was a member of Joy Baptist Church in Conover and retired as a sewer in the furniture industry. She enjoyed playing games in her spare time, especially Bingo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Holbert Benjamin Franklin; second husband, Jim Franklin Bailey; son, Bobby Allen Franklin; daughter, Linda Gail Franklin; and a brother, David Bumgarner.

A memorial service to celebrate Dianne’s life will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at her residence, 6523 Alice Lane, Apartment E3, Conover, NC 28613.
