<p>Kathlene Irene George, 85, formerly of Kenhorst, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Berks Heim. She was the wife of the late David C. George, Sr. who passed away January 22, 1989. Born in Reading, Kathlene was the daughter of the late Earl and Katherine I. (Foreman) Gring. She was a graduate of Wilson High School and was a member of Immanuel United Church of Christ, Shillington. Kathlene is survived by her children Sharon I. Salamone of Wyomissing; Karen C. Albrecht, wife of Bruce L. Albrecht of Mohnton; Linda D. Rauenzahn, wife of Richard R. Rauenzahn of Wyomissing; David C. George, Jr., husband of Rhea George of Cumru Township; Diane A. Gibson, wife of David Gibson of Laureldale; Mark K. George, husband of Jolyn George of Wernersville and her 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Arlene Eberly of Kenhorst and Doris Showers of Brecknock Township. Kathlene was preceded in death by her siblings Helen Sheerin, Henry Gring and June Rietz. </p><p>Funeral Service will be held at Bean Funeral Home, 129 East Lancaster Ave. Shillington, Friday, November 25, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends at Bean Funeral Home Friday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
