Harold E. Peck

<p>Harold E. Peck, Jr., 74, of Greensburg, died Friday, November 18, 2022. He was born December 12, 1947, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Harold Eugene and Mary Lou Noah Peck, and was also preceded in death by his sister, Suzanne Fetter. He was employed by Bell Telephone Company before serving in the military and retired, as a Systems Technician, from Lucent Technologies after 32 years. Harold was drafted by the Army in 1967, serving as a Corporal (E-4), during the Vietnam War. He was a combat wounded veteran and received a Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars. Harold enjoyed reading science fiction novels, woodworking and traveling to Formula One races with his sons. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Jane Kessler Peck; sons Jeffrey (Jennifer) Peck of Wake Forest, North Carolina; Stephen (Heather) Peck of Unity Township; grandchildren, Brandon, Ashley, Emma and Liam Peck, Kenzie and Tatum Welker; brother, John (Jen Roth) Peck of Pittsburgh, and his brother-in-law, Walter Fetter of Greensburg, as well as many nieces and nephews. </p>
