Funeral services for Mrs. Jeanne Goodwin, age 98, of Springhill, LA, will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at Central Baptist Church in Springhill, LA with Rev. Terry Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Goodwin was born on May 8, 1924 to Walter Marvin and Nobie May Foster Bradley in Emerson, AR and passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 in Bossier City, LA. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She also, enjoyed gardening and sewing as well as her Central Baptist Church family. She was a choir member & blessed many with her direction of the annual Christmas play. In years past she worked at H & B Drug as well as Central Baptist Church.  She was loved by many & will be greatly missed.  

She is survived by her son, Paul Bradley Goodwin and wife, Niela of Springhill, LA; daughter, Jan Elizabeth G. Holt and husband, Dr. Steven Holt of Bossier City, LA;  seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one niece; and her beloved dog Princess.

Mrs. Goodwin was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence L. Goodwin; and brother, Walter "Buck" Bradley.

Pallbearers will be Nathan Disotell, Cole Goodwin, Ronnie Dees, Ray Huddleston, Ray Burnham and Carroll Breaux.
