Butch Cochran

<p>William “Butch” Robert Cochran passed away November 16, 2022 at the Hays Medical Center. He was born March 24, 1961 in Albuquerque, NM to Billie D. and Frances E. (Jones) Cochran.</p><p>As a kid he moved around a lot due to his father being in the Navy. His family settled in Norton, and he was a Norton Community High School graduate. Butch worked for B4-A-Rent in Goodland, KS and then as mechanic for Engle’s in Norton. He was a huge Dungeon and Dragons fan and spent a lot of time painting miniature figurines. He was also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Most of all, he loved traveling to visit his kids and grandkids when he was able.</p><p>Butch was preceded in death by his mother, Frances; sister, Connie Dale; and his friend who was like a brother to him, Richard Lindsay. He is survived by his father, Billie of Norton, KS; children: Chyanne (Brian) McDonald of Rozel, KS, Jacob (Kali) Cochran of Larned, KS, Kacie Palmer of Salina, KS, and Randy (fiancé Danielle) Cochran of Norton, KS; eight grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.</p><p>Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at the First Church of God in Norton. Burial will follow at the Norton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home to help with the funeral expenses and may be sent to the funeral home at 215 W.
