Mr. James David Langley, 84, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

Honoring David’s final wishes, there will be no services. Entombment at Pinewood Memorial Park.

David, son of the late German David and Judah Joyner Langley, was born on March 31, 1938 in Nash County. He was a graduate of Coopers High School in Nash County and attended East Carolina University. He served in the United States Army as communications specialist at the Pentagon as well as Fort Bragg, NC. He was employed with Carolina Telephone/Sprint as an Engineer, retiring with 45 years of service January 2001.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.

Surviving are wife, Linda B. Langley and son, Brent Langley, both of Greenville.
