It is with great sadness that the family of Alexis (Callahan) Levenson announces the sudden passing of their mother and friend. Alexis was born and raised in Weymouth, Massachusetts and was a 1989 graduate of Weymouth South High School. She went on to get her business degree at Bentley College.

Alexis, predeceased by her parents: Thomas H. Callahan and Penelope Callahan was the beloved mother of Joshua Callahan and Jacob Levenson; longtime companion of Robert Levesque and sister of Sean M. Callahan.

Alexis’ greatest love was that of her two sons. She learned at a young age that motherhood was her calling. Alexis made a significant impact in this world and in everything she did; whether it be for her family, friends or work, she did it with passion. Although short in stature, she possessed an enormous heart, generous soul and zest for life. She cherished her relationships with her lifelong friends, who were her second family. Alexis also found peace and solace together with Rob on vacations, whether it be on a beach in the Caribbean or simply on her kayak in a nearby river, she embraced every minute of every day. It had been a goal for her faithful group of friends to plan a long overdue trip together. Although this did not happen, it is a reminder that Alexis would want to have echoed "don’t count the days, but make the days count". In Alexis’ memory, she would want everyone to not shed a tear but to embrace life and smile when they think of her.

Services for Alexis will be private and are under the direction of the Boucher Funeral Home, 272 Sayles Ave., Pascoag.
