James Patrick Foley Jr.; age 74 of Orion, passed away November 16, 2022. Beloved husband of Diana for 53 years; loving father of Nancy Foley-Barber, Stephen (Kelly) Foley, and Katherine Foley; proud grandfather of Maggie, Jack, Estelle, and Eloise; brother of William (Cindy) Foley, and the late Jane (late Adam) Stasik.

A mountain of a man in every sense, Jim was passionate and possessed a boundless Irish gift of Blarney. Jim loved roaring campfires, and raising a glass with his many beloved friends. As a founding member of The Muzzleloaders at The Oakland County Sportsman’s Club, he was honored for a lifetime of outstanding service.

Jim was proud of his military service, his 30 year career as a HVAC tech at Pontiac General Hospital, and most of all, his beautiful wife and dedicated family.

An Irish Wake will be held on Sunday, November 27th at The Oakland County Sportsman’s Club, 4770 Waterford Rd, Clarkston, MI 48346. Please arrive at 3:00PM for drinks & light appetizers. Services begin at 3:30PM with dinner to follow.
