Shirran, Ronald John - At Victoria Hospital in London on Monday, July 29, 2013 with his family by his side, Ronald John Shirran of Parkhill passed away in his 79th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Lola (Dixon) for 53 years. Loving father of Cindy & Wayne Shaddock of Exeter, and Dorothy Shirran (Rick) of Strathroy. Cherished grandfather of Justin Lockhart (Heather Cafe), Tabatha McNicol (Alvin), Brittany Thomson (Mike VanBree), Samantha Shaddock (Thomas Wood), and Tyler Thomson . Great grandfather of Lucas Lockhart, Alyssa, Alexis, A.J., Ryan, Ayden McNicol, and Nathan VanBree, . Sadly missed brother of Beth Neale, and Isabelle. Also survived by brothers-in-law of Don & Laura Dixon, Lenore & Don Young, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Gary Dixon, and Ross Neale, and sister-in-law Audrey Dixon. Ron was Mayor of Parkhill for 13 years, a member of Masonic Lodge, Cassia #116 Lodge where he became District Deputy Grand Master and Worthy Grand Patron of Ontario for the Order of the Eastern Star. Resting at the M. Box and Son Funeral Home for visitation on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from 3-9pm. Funeral Service on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 2:00pm at the North Middlesex Community Centre, Parkhill, with Rev. Doug Wright officiating. Masonic Service on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at 1:00pm followed by an Order of the Eastern Star Service at 1:30pm. Private interment at Parkhill Cemetery will be held at a later date.
