Billy Gene Bishop, 55, died Monday, November 14, 2022 in Danville. Born October 4, 1967 in Lexington, he was the son of the late Adrian Arnold and Fannie Yvonne Preston Bishop. He was a Dump Truck Driver for Woodford Excavation and enjoyed watching football and spending time with his family.

Survivors include three daughters: Ashley Lambert and Kimberly (Miguel) Rodriguez both of Danville, and Kayla (Hunter Shannon) Bishop of Simpsonville, SC; two brothers: David (Judy) Bishop of Mt. Sterling and Michael Bishop; three sisters: Joannie Douglas of Stanford, Tina Michelle Brinegar, and Tammy "Sissy" Slone; three grandchildren: Emery Zamora, Raven Shannon, and Lillian Shannon.

He was preceded in death by one brother Terry Lee Bishop.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Danville Memorial Gardens with Bro. Lynn Releford officiating.
