He is survived by his wife, Laurel; children, Kristen (Christopher) Welch, Brent Schlegel; grandchildren, Cylas Monroe, Madison and Emery Welch; mother, Carol Schlegel; sister, Tracy Bowman (Rich); stepmother, Brenda Schlegel; brother-in-law, Eugene Cardamone; numerous nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters-in-law; mother-in-law, Lawanda Moore.

Gary enjoyed a 40 year long successful career with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Professional Healthcare Representative.

Friends may call Monday, November 21 from 5-8PM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.).
