<p>Anthony Ortiz Jr, 32, passed away due to a tragic car accident on November 10, 2022.</p><p><br></p><p>Anthony was born on March 7, 1990 in Chicago, IL . He attended Harriet Beecher Stowe Elementary school, and graduated from North Grand High School in 2008. He also attended the Chicago Police Academy.</p><p><br></p><p>Anthony was known to be the life of every party. He loved helping others, fishing, going to the gun range, bowling, and having a good time. His favorite holiday was the fourth of July, especially lighting all of the fireworks. Anthony also was known to be a sneakerhead. He also spent time with his family as much as possible.</p><p><br></p><p>Anthony is survived by his mother, Daisy Vargas; his sister: Krystal Ortiz, and his niece: Naiyah Zamora.</p><p><br></p><p>A “Celebration of Life & Memorial Service” will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 4-8 p.m., at the Alvarez Funeral Directors, 2500 N Cicero Ave, Chicago, IL 60639.
