Bettye Ruth Allen was born March 18, 1942, in Jackson County, TN, and she passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022 at Bethesda Health Care in Cookeville, TN, at the age of 80.

She was the daughter of the late Howard Lee and Decie Kay Ramsey Lee. She was married to the late Paul Edward Allen, who passed away in 1997. She was a factory worker, and a member of the Dodson Branch Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her Sister: Joann Ross.

Survivors include her Sons: Jeffrey Wayne Allen and Ricky Allen, both of Cookeville, TN; Brothers: David Lee, Donnie Lee, Dale Lee, and Mark Lee, all of Cookeville, TN; Sisters: Linda Ward and Brenda Oakley, both of Cookeville, TN; Grandchildren: Jessica, Leann, and Micayla Allen; and 1 Great Grandchild: Mallie Kate Houston.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 1 P.M. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home, with Bro. Bill Haney officiating. Burial will follow in the Dodson Branch Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10 A.M. until time of services.
