Dean M. Benton II, age 55, of York, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on November 13, 2022 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in York.

Dean was born in Hamilton Bermuda on August 18, 1967 and graduated from West York High School. He worked for Syncreon in York as a supervisor prior to his illness. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, photography, his Jeep, and the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his mother Judy K. (Williamson) Benton and by his sister Leigh Anne Benton; his children Erica Treider and her husband Michael and Dean M. Benton III and his significant other Chelsea Brulinski and his grandchildren Asilyn, Faelyn, and Elowyn. He was predeceased by his father Dean M. Benton in 2021.

A viewing in celebration of Dean’s life will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 4:00PM – 7:00PM at Beck Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc., of East York, 3670 E. Market St., York, PA 17402. Interment will be held privately by the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dean’s memory may be made to Richard M. Nixon County Park, 5922 Nixon Dr., York, PA 17403.
