<p>Frederick “Fred” Eugene Jenneman, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 73. He was a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, born on July 11, 1949 to his loving parents Elenora Jenneman and the late Eugene Jenneman. Fred is the beloved husband of 40 years to the love of his life and best friend, Christal Faciane Jenneman; cherished father of Melissa Jenneman Corona (Paulo Gonzalez), Tara Sabrina Jenneman (George Bojarski), Leslie Carin Jenneman (Scott Thornton), Amanda Roginski (A.J. Roginski), and Dakota Frederick Jenneman (Lindsey Jenneman); proud grandfather of Summer Bojarski, Treylan Jenneman, Isabel Corona, Olivia Gonzalez, Berkeley Corona, Micah Thornton, Jaxson Roginski, Adeline Roginski, Cecily Jenneman, Isla Jenneman, and Rex Roginski; caring brother of Madeline Hensell. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Fred, a graduate of Chalmette High School, lived an incredible life that centered on love. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren, family, friends, and strangers with a fierce, unconditional love. Fred and his wife, Christal, traversed many obstacles together including cancer diagnoses for both of them and numerous hurricanes. He was a master storyteller who exuded joy when engaging in conversation. Fred was very proud of his children and grandchildren and would talk about them to anyone who would listen. He was a proud Navy Veteran, having served on the USS Coral Sea Battleship during Vietnam. Fred fought a 10 year long, tough battle with Multiple Myeloma. In spite of the battles he faced, he was always able to find the ray of sunshine. Fred will be immensely missed by all who knew and loved him.</p><p><br></p><p>Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with Military Honors to be held at 4:45 p.m. at Audubon Funeral Home in Slidell. Frederick “Fred” Eugene Jenneman, of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on November 11, 2022, at the age of 73.
